Mullman, Abi Stafford, Janie Taylor; voices performed by Kelly Sheridan (Barbie/Clara), Kirby Morrow (Nutcracker/Prince Eric), Tim Curry (Mouse King), Peter Kelamis (Pimm), Christopher Gaze (Major Mint), Ian James Corlett (Captain Candy), French Tickner (Grandfather Drosselmayer), Kathleen Barr (Aunt Drosselmayer/owl), Alex Doduk (Tommy), Chantal Strand (Kelly), Britt McKillip (Peppermint Girl), Danny McKinnon (Gingerbread Boy), and others; music played by the London Symphony Orchestra. Animated film; dramatic adaptation loosely based on the plot of the Nutcracker ballet, opening and closing with scenes of Barbie and a little girl (Kelly) practicing in a dance studio. Other dance scenes are: the waltz of the snow faeries, the waltz of the flower faeries, a duet by the Peppermint Girl and Gingerbread Boy, a duet by Major Mint and Captain Candy, and the adagio of the grand pas de deux, danced by Barbie and Prince Eric.
