Summary
Documentary on the partnership of Bertram Ross and John Wallowitch, onstage and in private life. They discuss the origins of their cabaret act and perform songs by Wallowitch and others at various points in the program. They also reminisce about their individual careers before their partnership began. Ross, a principal dancer in Martha Graham's company, is seen in excerpts from her works Appalachian spring (filmed in 1958) aand Night journey (filmed in 1961). Both are seen transmitting their arts to younger dancers and singers.
