Summary
Jerome Robbins, assisted by ballet master Christine Redpath, directs two rehearsals of the Woodwinds section of Fanfare. The first rehearsal includes only the flute and piccolo variation. The second includes all of the woodwinds variations and the woodwinds sections of the opening and the fugue. The roles are rehearsed by multiple casts. There are many interruptions and repetitions. Robbins gives corrections to the dancers and discusses the choreography.
