Summary
"This is the second of two programs exploring the African roots of Cuban popular music and dance." This program is "devoted to lucumí, a major religious expression of the Yoruba people of West Africa that is often referred to as santeria." The dances depict the deities known as orichas [also spelled orishas or orixas].
