Summary
In interviews interspersed with performance excerpts, Sally Silvers discusses how she became a dancer and choreographer ; her experiences in the dance world of New York City ; drawing inspiration to do her own work from the art world milieu ; developing her own movement vocabulary ; her choreographic process and artistic goals. She describes her work Grand Guignol, a collaboration with composer John Zorn. Her film Little lieutenant, a collaboration with filmmaker Henry Hills, is screened in full.
