- Summary
- The professional partnership of composer Richard Rodgers and lyricist Lorenz Hart is examined through a combination of archival footage, interviews with colleagues and family members, and performances of several of their best-known songs in sequences staged for this program. The emphasis is on their work for the Broadway stage, but their contribution to Hollywood films is also examined.
