- Theater Talk co-hosts Michael Riedel and Susan Haskins moderate this panel discussion of issues facing the professional theater in New York. In the first portion of the program, topics include economic aspects of theatrical production, the influence of corporate financing, the playwright's role in the production process, the power of critics, and the demarcation of Broadway, Off-Broadway, and Off-Off-Broadway productions. In the second portion, during which audience members pose questions for the panel, there is further discussion of financial sources, and the question of attracting young people to the theater is examined.
