Summary
Musical about romantic complications involving twin sisters and their mother in the village of Rochefort, France. The film includes numerous dance sequences, many of them set in the open air, and most of the songs include some dance movement. Catherine Deneuve plays the teacher of a children's ballet class, which appears in a few scenes. Major performers in the dance sequences are George Chakiris, Grover Dale, Gene Kelly, Catherine Deneuve and Françoise Dorléac.
