Other topics include her company Jazz Ballet Theatre, the definition of theater dance, and her audition for West side story. To demonstrate the work of American Dance Machine, she and Buzz Miller rehearse Debbie Allen and Hector Mercado in Miller's reconstruction of Carol Haney's choreography for Me and my gal, a duet danced by Haney and Miller on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1961. The duet is performed in full, with segments danced by Allen and Mercado, Theodore and Miller, and Haney and Miller, the last in b&w footage from the Ed Sullivan Show.
