- Summary
- The life and career of stage producer Florenz ("Flo") Ziegfeld (1869-1932) is examined, through interviews with family members, theater scholars, and performers who worked with him. A number of star performers from Ziegfeld shows are represented in archival footage. Included are scenes from Ziegfeld's original Broadway production of Show boat (1927).
