Summary
Documentary on Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company, an Israeli modern dance company. In brief interviews, its founder Yehudith Arnon, a concentration camp survivor, discusses her decision to form a company in a kibbutz ; resident choreographer Rami Be'er discusses the sources of his choreographic themes ; and guest choreographer Susanne Linke notes her observations of the company. Dancers describe the unique experience of working together as members of a kibbutz and a dance company. The many performance excerpts include Be'er's Winged dreams, Real time, Reservist's diary, Angeles negros, and Carnival of the animals, as well as works by guest choreographers: Jiri Kylian's Stoolgame, Mats Ek's Fire place, and Linke's Frauenballett.
