- Summary
- Scenes from "Let's dance," a black-tie "celebrity ball" given by Philadelphia College of the Performing Arts with Rudolf Nureyev as the guest of honor. Accompanying Nureyev is Suzanne Morgan, organizer of the ball. Presentations at the ball included a classical ballet to Brahms's Hungarian dances ; a speech by the mayor of Philadelphia, William J. Green, who lauds Nureyev as "the greatest dancer in the world" ; and the conferring of an honorary doctorate on Nureyev by Joseph Castaldo, the president of Philadelphia College of the Performing Arts. Nureyev is subsequently seen on the dance floor with Suzanne Morgan. Robert Tracy, his companion, also appears briefly in this tape.
