- Summary
- Slightly abridged performance of the ballet ; does not include fairies' variations in prologue, and contains only two of the storybook divertissements in Act III: the Bluebird and Princess Florine, and the Pussycats. The performance (ca. 86 min.) is followed by ca. 4 min. of additional footage, possibly outtakes, including a sequence in which Nureyev dances and clowns in Aurora's Act III variation; and a minute-long excerpt from an Emmy Awards presentation, featuring the acceptance speeches of a Canadian Broadcasting Corporation official and director Norman Campbell upon receiving an Emmy Award for this program.
