Performance footage of an ice skating show by Olympic medallists Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean, and their company. The individual numbers that compose the show are not identified on frame, but include Torvill and Dean's signature duets to Bolero and Let's face the music and dance, as well as an ice ballet danced to Carl Orff's Carmina burana. The performance is preceded by a b&w montage of preparations for the show, titled "Torvill & Dean, face the music, their farewell tour," which includes the construction of the ice skating surface, rehearsals, and backstage scenes, with voiceover comments by Torvill and Dean. Post-performance scenes are also shown in b&w.
