Summary
Scenes from an intertribal Native American powwow. The first half of the program focuses on the dance competitions, with titles identifying the various categories: junior girls' fancy and jingle, junior boys' fancy, teens' traditional, teen girls' fancy, teen girls' traditional, men's northern traditional, women's fancy, women's jingle, men's southern fancy, women's northern traditional, men's fancy. The second half comprises more dancing, including the men's fancy dance, the gourd dance, a hoop dance solo by Derrick Davis, and women's fancy shawl dance, as well as highlights of the Miss Indian World contest. Brief interviews with participants appear throughout the program.
