- Translation of Funke's introduction to a facsimile of the first edition of Fugger's Ein nutzlich vnd wolgegrundt Formular Manncherley schöner schriefften (Nürnberg, 1553), published in Leipzig, 1958 (q.v.).
- Introductory note by John Ryder states that "Wolfgang Fugger's writing-book was first printed at Nürnberg by Valentin Geissler in 1553 and again, with some revisions and changes, by Catharina Dieterich sometime between 1597 and 1605."--cf. Benzing: Buchdrucker des 16. und 17. Jahrhunderts, p. 340, no. 57.
