Summary
Documentary about the struggles of a young woman, Katherine Bruce Laing, to overcome her bulimia and obsession with weight. Her roommate Sabine Fella introduced her to belly dancing, which, as testified by her instructor Tahia Sassine, helped her develop a healthier body image and led to self-acceptance. The interviews are interspersed with footage of belly dancing in performance and class, and the program culminates with a performance by Laing herself.
