- Features the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC) and its early efforts in Greenwood, Mississippi to eradicate the hostility, violence, and lack of communication between Whites and Blacks. Footage includes a white political rally in an open field and a Negro freedom festival with folk singer Pete Seeger. Includes interviews with Bob Moses, leader of the civil rights movement in Mississippi, and Greenwood Mayor Charles E. Sampson.
