- Summary
- In an interview-performance set in a theater before a live audience, choreographer Agnes de Mille discusses the musical Oklahoma!, summarizing its plot and noting the reasons for its success. Excerpts from the dream ballet "Laurey makes up her mind" are then danced by Gemze de Lappe (a featured dancer in the original production of Oklahoma!), Blane Savage, and ensemble, interspersed with narration by de Mille, who describes the characters and their actions.
