Mr. Carter discusses the dispute with Ron Protas and de Mille over the use of the Graham studios; Graham's relationship with Protas; Graham's unwillingness to accept old age; Graham's poverty and sacrificing; status symbol of wealth; Protas' inheriting the rights to Graham's work and writing the definitive Graham book; women Graham admired; Graham's support of Carter's dancing; Graham creating Letter to the world; Protas' protective attitude toward Graham and its impact on her friends and company dancers; Graham as a legend.
