- Taglioni describes, possibly to the critic for the Journal des Débats, the performance in which she will dance a minuet with Vestris (his last public appearance), "Dlles" Elssler will perform a new dance, and she will take the principal role in a new ballet by her father, with music by Gallenberg (Brézilia, ou La tribu des femmes).
- This benefit performance took place on April 8, 1835, at the Paris Opéra, and is discussed in Lillian Moore's article, The Sylphide in her letters (Dance magazine, New York, June 1945, p. 10, 30-31).
