The discussion explores the impact upon dance of political events in Germany, such as the rise of Nazism and World War II, and parallel developments in art (such as the work of Der Blaue Reiter, Die Brücke, the Dadaists, and the Bauhaus), and film (F.W. Murnau and Josef von Sternberg).
