Includes parts of the adagio, the man's variation in full, and a brief glimpse of the woman's variation. -- The three-cornered hat. Chor: Léonide Massine. Filmed at the Théâtre Sarah Bernhardt, Paris. Perf. by Léonide Massine (the miller), Tamara Toumanova (his wife), and an unidentified ballet company. Preceded by head shots of Toumanova and Massine in costume and make-up. Brief footage of a duet by Toumanova and Massine, and a solo by Massine. -- Brahms variations. Choreography: Bronislava Nijinska. Scenery/costumes: Marcel Vertès. Perf. by the Grand Ballet de Monte Carlo (Marquis de Cuevas): André Eglevsky (Apollo/artist), Rosella Hightower (Diana/the melody), Marjorie Tallchief (Venus), and others.
