Summary

Documentary on the making of Blue snake, first performed by the National Ballet of Canada in 1985. Choreographer Robert Desrosiers is seen working with dancers and collaborators at various stages of the ballet's creation. Erik Bruhn, artistic director of the company, offers his observations of the work, as do several dancers. A complete performance of the ballet, recorded at its world premiere, concludes the program.
