- Music and dance of ethnic groups from Kazakh, Uzbek, Turkmen, Tajik, Kirgiz, Kalmyk, Mari, Bashkir, and Siberia. All footage on this cassette provided courtesy of Gosteleradio. Nos. 1, 4 to 9 recorded at the All Soviet Union Folk Music Festival in Kolomenskoe, Moscow, in September 1987. Nos. 10 to 12, 20 recorded at the same festival in 1986. Nos. 2 and 3 recorded in Moscow in December 1985. Nos. 13 to 19, 21 to 23 recorded in Khabarovsk, Russian S.F.S.R., in June 1987.
