- Television program focusing on the achievements of deaf people. Of special interest to dancers is the feature Sign Wave, produced by Barry Waite, which highlights the performing company of the same name established on the Hawaiian island of Kauai by Ed and Lynn Corey. Glimpses of performances by deaf dancers also appear in Aloha Gallaudet, a report on a regional center opened in Hawaii by Gallaudet University, and coverage of the Miss Deaf America competition.
