- Summary
- Documentary filmed on the island then called British Samoa, a mandate of New Zealand. Depicts scenes from Polynesian life, as it survived in the 1920s. A courtship (?) dance by a man and a woman appears at about 54 min. into the tape. Later, there are a few glimpses of a men's dance with weapons and a mixed dance, both performed in connection with a boy's initiation rite.
