Choreographer Viola Farber and two of her former company members, Karen Levey and Larry Clark, discuss her approach to teaching and choreographing. Farber shares her thoughts on musicality and improvisation in choreography, discusses key decisions in her life such as striking out on her own and moving to France, and reminisces about her studies with Margaret Craske. Levey and Clark recall Farber's qualities as a teacher and the challenges of working in her dance company.
