Summary
Choreographer Stephanie Woodard and composer Peter Zummo talk about the interaction between their professional and personal partnerships. They discuss their collaboration on pieces for solo trombone and dancer (including Duo concertante, an excerpt of which is screened, Swimming minesweeper, and She said), their work as writers, and finding means of financial support. A b&w excerpt of Risa Jaroslow's cinedance Rites of passing, to music by Zummo, is also shown, as well as an unidentified collaboration by Woodard and Zummo. In Profiles, choreographer Bella Lewitzky discusses the influence of the visual. Excerpts of her works, danced by the Lewitzky Dance Company of Los Angeles, are screened.
