Summary
Dancers Ian "Ernie" Horvath and Kirk Peterson compare notes with baseball player Ron Darling and Dr. Joel Solomon, a psychiatrist who has worked with baseball players, regarding dancers' and athletes' attitudes towards discipline, body image, fitness, competition, goals, injuries, and other common concerns. They also touch upon salaries, career spans, sense of control, interaction with colleagues, and other matters related to working in a company or team. They conclude with a discussion of drug abuse among dancers and athletes, and in society in general. Recorded excerpts show Darling pitching for the New York Mets. Peterson's dancing and choreography are represented through excerpts from the documentary The creation of OMO.
