- Summary
- Performers Pat Oleszko, who uses wearable sculpture in her pieces, and Beth Lapides, whose materials are talking and movement, discuss how their special performance styles evolved and what they are seeking to achieve. They note how their pieces challenge or comment satirically upon traditional male/female stereotypes, describe their experiences with street theater, and trace the lineage of their work. Oleszko performs an excerpt from Eurovision song contest, and Lapides performs "I'm a little teapot." In Esoterica balletica, Frances Becker, playing "Miss Frances," models an alternative to conventional practice clothes.
