Summary

Choreographer Julia Simonne and composer Mary Hurt discuss their collaboration on the ballet Other moments, other moods, an excerpt of which is screened at the end of the program. Geraldine Pontius, an architect, talks about her collaboration with choreographer Daniel McCusker and visual artist Tom Hatch on Economy of means, presented as part of the Art on the Beach Festival. The guests also discuss the personal qualities that aid collaboration and the reasons for the recent revival of interest in collaborations. In Esoterica balletica, Tom Hatch recalls the experience of collaborating with Pontius and McCusker.
