Prefaced by a reminiscence of her early life and career, covering her work with Martha Graham, Louis Horst, and Erick Hawkins; her first independent concert, shared with Merce Cunningham; and the influence of her husband Joseph Campbell. Many of the dances are preceded by b&w footage or still photographs of Erdman dancing.
