Videotaped for the Dance Collection by the CASS in the ballroom of the D. P. Culp University Center, East Tennessee State University, Johnson City, Tennessee, on March 3, 1990, with the assistance of grants from the National Endowment for the Arts and the New York State Council on the Arts.

CONTENTS. - Precision clogging. Facilitator: Dr. Gail Matthews, McKissick Museum, University of South Carolina. Introduction by Matthews, who interviews Barbara Bogart, director of the Kingsport Country Cloggers of Knoxville, Tennessee. In contrast to freestyle clogging, which allows individual interpretations of the music (see *MGZIC 9-2287 cassette 5), the members of precision clogging teams must synchronize their steps. After a demonstration by the group, the audience is invited to participate.
