Summary
The film, which compresses several hours, begins before the actual start of the dance. As the women clap and sing, the men move in a circle, warding off evil or taking it into themselves by placing hands on the women. Several men fall into trance, wailing and retching to expel the evil they have absorbed, and are tended by women and other men.
