Summary
Travelogue culled from a ten-year journey through the Indonesian archipelago by the brothers Lawrence and Lorne Blair, who studied its natural environments, history, and ethnic and cultural diversity. Brief glimpses of dance and dance-related rituals, some performed by ethnic groups little known to the west, are seen in their cultural context.
