Danced by members of the Urban Bush Women, including Terri Cousar, Anita Gonzalez, Viola Sheely, Rrata Christine Jones, Janice Reed, Carol Webster, and Jawole Zollar. Summary: An evocation of a Caribbean childhood drawing upon African and Caribbean folk traditions and inspired by Jamaica Kincaid's "At the bottom of the river," a book of stories about growing up in the Caribbean.
