- Documentary on aspects of Romany life in the various countries in which they have settled, focusing on the function of music and dancing in gypsy culture, and the gypsies' role as entertainers. Film traces the travels of the Gypsies from their origins, thought to be in India, along the Romany trail: to the south through Egypt and North Africa up into Spain; and to the north through the Middle East into Europe and Britain.
