  • Set design for scene I of Danieli's ballet for Ballet Society, premiered at New York City Center, Nov. 12, 1947.
  • Depicts city street scene at twilight; two story houses at right and left; narrow cobbled walk opens on back courtyard, partially blocked from sight by broken wooden fence between the houses. In the distance, the spires and domes of the city loom above the houses of the court.
