- Recording made by Elinor Rogosin as material for two radio programs about Jacob's Pillow, to be broadcast by WBAI, New York, on September 5, and October 3, 1970 on the series Dance focus, with Rogosin as host. The recording includes brief interviews conducted by Rogosin with faculty members Betty Poindexter, Margaret Craske, and Barton Mumaw, and with students at the Jacob's Pillow dance school, including the house manager (streaming file 1); as well as brief interviews conducted by Rogosin with Ted Shawn, Asha Devi, Ruth Page, and Joyce Cuoco (streaming file 2). In addition, the recording includes the ambient sounds of part of a dance performance at Jacob's Pillow (including Shawn's introductory remarks) and of dance classes.

- Sound quality is good to poor. The recording is marred at times by extraneous sounds including "tape hiss," music and voices as well as occasional short gaps. However, overall, the voices of Rogosin and the interviewees are easily intelligible.
