- SUMMARY: Margaret Gage describes her early dance training at the Bennett School, Millbrook, New York, and later with Florence Fleming Noyes, Anna Duncan, and Maria Theresa Duncan; teaching at the Bennett School in the Drama and Dance Departments; her acting career and association with playwright Charles Rann Kennedy and his wife, actress Edith Wynne Matthison; choreographing incidental dances in Shakespeare plays and then for the Greek chorus in Greek dramas such as Antigone and Electra; the establishment of an outdoor Greek Theatre at the Bennett School in 1924; the role of the Greek chorus in Greek dramas.
