  • Martha Deane was the pseudonym of Marian Young Taylor, who was host of The Martha Deane program from 1941-1973. This was also the pseudonym used by the first host, Mary Margaret McBride, who hosted the show until 1940, and of Bessie Beatty, who was the second host.
