- Cassette 1 (30 min.) Second half of Lillian Moore's speech, How does the researcher get the facts?, and a portion of a talk about research on the dancer Suzanne Vaillande Douvillier. She discusses her methods of researching theatrical dance in America in the 18th and 19th centuries, specifically concerning the dancers Pierre Landrin Duport, Anna Gardie, and Suzanne Vaillande Douvillier, and the first ballet performance in New York City. In his speech, Research in ethnic dance, Matteo discusses the requirements and problems of research, learning and recording ritual and ceremonial dances -- Cassette 2 (60 min.) Post-conference discussion group concerned with methods of disseminating information on the Conference and how to organize on a regional basis.
