- Recorded January 7, 1964 at the Russian Tea Room, New York City, for radio station WNCN's series, Government in the arts. Two statements and two interviews were given on the recent eight-million dollar Ford Foundation grant to ballet companies, most of which went to George Balanchine's New York City Ballet and Balanchine-influenced ballet companies around the country. Those reading statements were: Lillian Moore, dance critic for the New York Herald Tribune, and Brunetta DeMatteo, dance critic for Show-business magazine. Those interviewed were: Harold Garton, dance critic for Backstage magazine, and Bernard Taper, author of a biography of George Balanchine.
