Collection consists of correspondence, manuscripts, facsimiles of autographs, and printed matter related to chess. Correspondence includes letters, 1837-1922, by notable chess players and world champions; and picture postcards, 1910-1933. Also, facsimiles of autographs of chess masters, manuscripts concerning chess tournaments, and five volumes of chess problems and their solutions (some in manuscript form).
