- The Schomburg Center's Manuscripts, Archives & Rare Book Division has three copies of this book. Copy 2 in Sc Rare 810.8-J (Johnson, C. Ebony, and topaz) (no accession #) includes a manuscript inscription in black ink by Arthur A. Schomburg. It's a post-Lawrence Reddick addition to the collection that was part of the JBH General Research & Reference collection in Sc+ 810.8-J (Johnson, C. Ebony, and topaz), transferred to the Schomburg Center Manuscripts, Archives & Rare Book Division in Sc Rare 810.8-J (Johnson, C. Ebony, and topaz) August 25, 2023. The copy in Sc Rare+ F 82-72 ) (no accession #) is also a post-Lawrence Reddick addition to the collection, and contains an inscription from former owner: "To Sallis & Ernst from Gladys and [L/T]yna, Christmas 1927."Also available on microfilm in: Sc Micro R-4780, no. 9.
