- The Schomburg Center's Manuscripts, Archives & Rare Book Division's copy is probably a post-Lawrence Reddick addition to the collection. It contains a 1940 onward bookplate of: "The Schomburg Collection of Negro Literature and History"; but lacks the NYPL perforated stamp and any other stamps or processing markings of the original Schomburg Collection. Bound in black cloth over board library binding; and a gilt spine.
