- The Schomburg Center's Manuscripts, Archives & Rare Book Division's copy was originally part of the 135 Street Branch's Circulation Department. Added or transferred to the Schomburg collection (June 30, 1942 -- G.K. Halls) when Catherine A. Latimer was the collection librarian and Lawrence Reddick was the Curator. It includes NYPL's bookplate of "Arthur A. Schomburg Negro Collection"; & stamps of: "Division of Negro Literature and History"; "The New York Public Library: Circulation Department, 135 Street Branch, 103 West 135th St." and "Property of the City of New York." and Imperfect: torn, brittle, bound in navy cloth over boards, library binding, with gilt spine.
