- Summary
- Views of teacher, editor, orator, NAACP Field Secretary and civil rights worker, William Pickens. The collection contains primarily studio portraits. Also views of Pickens giving speeches, telling Uncle Remus tales to children, at a desk, aboard a cruise ship, with John Haynes Holmes and reclining in a chair. Half, three-quarter and full-length views of a younger and older Pickens included.
