Summary

Portraits of author Chester Himes. Numerous individual views of a young and older Himes. Himes is shown in many group portraits with Louis Micheaux, Sterling Brown, his wife, Lesley Himes, with other unidentified people at a press conference, possibly in Holland, and holding a Dutch translation of one of his books. Also, Himes is shown at Countee Cullen Library after another press conference and on a book cover of Black on Black. Half and quarter length portraits are available.
